中英文访谈实录：外籍专家教你用英语约会

英语里，很多时候，对于什么约会是男女朋友间的、什么约会是商务的或其他原因的，会有混淆。所以，有时候如果我们邀请某人去个男女朋友间的约会，我们会说 a date date （约会的约会）。所谓“约会的约会”就是男女朋友间。因此，如果我问你“想不想赴个午餐约会”，你可以说，“是约会的约会？还是午餐约会？”如果我回答“午餐约会”，那是职场的了。

Also you can add breakfast date, dinner date. You can set up with your friends if you want to have a movie date. You can always plan a theme by adding a noun before a date, such as a movie date, a dinner date.

你也可以说早餐约会，晚餐约会。如果你想和朋友们一起去看电影还可以弄个电影约会。你可以通过在“约会”前面加个名词而计划个主题，就象电影约会，晚餐约会。

主持人: When we talk about date, could you tell us, some of the things couples do on a date?

既然我们在说约会，你能不能给我们讲讲在美国，一般情侣约会的时候都会做些什么事情？

J.M.: You mean a date date? I guess it's standard things most chinese couples do. The most popular date is to take someone to a movies and dinner. Nornamlly you go a dinner first and attend a new-featured film or a movie coming out.

你说的是约会的约会？我想和大多数中国情侣做的事情差不多。最普通的约会就是去看看电影，吃顿晚餐。通常先去吃晚饭，再去看场刚上映的电影。
