最近，好像一句话迅速成为了网络流行语，就和年初的“很黄很暴力”一样，这句话叫做“做人不要太CNN”。这句话的来龙去脉大概是这样的：在血浴高原14号发生事件后，以CNN为首的西方媒体在报道是捏造事实歪曲真相偏袒暴徒别有用心误导西方观众给我们伟大的国家造成了极其恶劣的国际影响。
上面原版画面显示：西藏暴乱，解放军军车从路边驶过，地上一片狼藉，路边的暴民用石块猛砸军车。CNN用图却把暴民用石块猛砸军车的画面剪裁下来了，画面上只显示军车开过，群众奔跑的样子。从这个细节可以看出，包括CNN在内的西方反华媒体在人权、藏独、疆独、台独等不利于中国政府方面问题不公正的甚至偏袒反党反政府组织一方的丑恶嘴脸。 
如果把原图公布出去，西方就会看到暴民攻击军车的场景，从而降低和削弱的西方对暴民的同情心。如果把原图上暴民猛砸军车的画面去除掉，那就会在西方人民面前展现出另外一副场景：中国军车开进镇压，人民奔跑躲避。这种恶棍做法与19年前如出一辙，那就是暴民攻击中国军队只字未提，而军队驱散暴民却极力报道。从这点可以看出西方部分主流媒体对中国社会极度的仇视。以下是CNN关于西藏叛乱反华言论的英语原文，目前在国内已经不能访问CNN那个报道的页面了。
