Grabbing a Bite to Eat随便吃点东西
A = Attendant C = Customer
A: Good afternoon, sir. May I help you?
C: Yes, I'd like a cheeseburger and a large order of French fries.
A: Would you like anything to drink with that?
C: Yes, a medium Coke.
A: Will that be all?
C: Yes.
A: For here or to go?
C: To go, please. (The attendant hands the customer his order.)
A: That'll be $4.25... (The customer gives her a 5 dollar bill.)...out of five. Here is your change, sir. Have a nice day.

例: The shopkeeper grabbed the thief by the collar.

2.bite n. 可吃的食物 (可数)

3.counter n. 柜台
4.attendant n. 服务员
5.May I V...? 我可以……吗？
注意:
这是一种客气的询问句, 通常用在店员问候上门的顾客, 或当自己有事要请人帮忙时, 是很常用的句型。
例: May I have some water, please?
(请给我一些水喝好吗？)

7.an order of... 一客……(食物)
例: I had an order of steak and fries last time I ate here.
(我已点了一客上次我在这里吃的牛排和薯条。)

10.medium a. 中杯的; (牛排) 煎成中等嫩度的
注意:
牛排的熟度, 依据美式餐厅做法, 有下列五种:
rare a. 三分熟的
medium rare 四分熟
medium a. 五、六分熟的
medium well 七、八分熟
well-done 全熟
例: A: How would you like your steak?
B: I'd like it well-done, please.
(甲：您的牛排要怎样料理？)
(乙：请给我全熟的。)

12.hand vt. 递给
例: Can you hand me that book?
