Knowledge Is Power

What is knowledge?Knowledge is everything that is known by man through his long experience in the world.When man has knowledge,he has power to cope with all kinds of problems in life.So we may say that knowledge is power.

There are various branches of knowledge which are accumulated by our ancestors or discovered by countless scientists,such as the knowledge of agriculture,the knowlege of waterpower,the knowledge of electricity,the knowledge of machinery,and soon.When we know the properties of electricity,we can make use of it to do a lot of things for us:to give us light at night,to operate machines for us and so on.Modern agricultural knowledge make it possible for us to produce much more food than before in the same piece of land.And machines have saved a lot of manpower.Then there is the most marvellous devicethe electronic computer which can help us solve various difficult problems.

As college students,we should try our best to learn as much scientific knowledge as possible,for knowledge is the power for us to face the challenges of the future.
